Welcome to the Commack Fire Department & District.
The Commack volunteer fire department is committed to serving the community with the primary purpose of saving life and property. We will accomplish this through constant training and always looking for new methods to better perform the tasks at hand.
We at the Commack volunteer fire department also feel that fire prevention training is very important for the community and so we will train all school age children in an effort to teach them about fire safety. It is our mission to give the citizens of the Commack fire district, and those who pass through it, the best service that is available whether it is paid or volunteer. We will respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year without exception, in an effort to accomplish our goals.

This year we will be hosting a children’s coloring contest! Print the following picture out, color it in, and submit it on October 26th for a chance to win a girl’s or boy’s bicycle. Be sure to write your child’s name, age, address, and phone number on the back. Submissions limited to children 8 years and younger, who reside within the Commack Fire District. Winners will be chosen at the conclusion of the event!
